Australia & Timor-Leste: a shared human development future
The Australia Timor-Leste development partnership aims to contribute to a peaceful, stable, prosperous and resilient Timor-Leste. Core to achieving this goal is improving outcomes in health, education and disability rights, and strengthening disability inclusive services.
Three new five-year human development programs are being launched: the Timor-Leste Australia Partnership for Health, the Timor-Leste Australia Partnership for Education, and the Timor-Leste Australia Partnership for Disability Rights. The programs are supported by a Shared Services Platform that provides centralised operational support across all three, and by a locally-led development pilot (the Hub).
Much of this work needs specialist expertise for a defined period: a review, a technical design, a training program, a policy input or an evaluation. The Short-Term Adviser Register lets us find the right expertise quickly and fairly when these needs arise.
